I was just playing around with a single off camera flash and reflector.

Setup was as follows...

Black table top
Sheet of glass from a photo for the reflection
One white shoot through umbrella
Sliver reflector on camera right
Black sheet for backdrop

Thanks for posting that! You just gave me an idea to try for a self-portrait. :D
