Surprisingly, I'm loving my new MacBook Pro! I didn't buy it for photography, but I will get some use out of it for that. I'm hoping my physical copy of Lightroom includes a Mac version.

I've been moved to the Mac Desktop team at work, so figured I ought to have a Mac at home to work on. I sprung for the 15" MacBook Pro with 1680x1050, glossy display. I didn't get the Retina version, primarily because they aren't upgradable, but also because I read about issues with video performance.

The multitouch trackpad is AWESOME! I'm tempted to switch from using a mouse to a trackpad on my desktop. I had to enable "Tap to click" as I don't like having to push on the trackpad for most things. I also don't find the keyboard on this difficult to use. I normally use an ergonomic keyboard, but I think I could us this for day to day. We'll see how it goes.

Most importantly, I plan on putting the sticker I got with my Glock 23 over the Apple logo! I think it'll be a perfect spot for it. :-)
