Post STICKY: Post Your Links to Lightroom Presets

I thought I would start a thread for posting links to Lightroom presets. Here are a few that I have saved:

    Preset Heaven
Inside Lightroom (look for the list on the right)
    Camera Dojo
180+ Free Presets Collection on Flickr
    Droreyal

    Share what you have!

You are making me jealous that I don't have access to these features in my work flow. Though, even if I did have the money to spend on the software, I would probably opt to buy a couple of new lenses instead.

I'll wait until I'm closer to doing this for additional income then set up a dedicated studio computer and office and claim it as a business expense.

How about opening a place where we can actually share and describe/demonstrate presets of our own creation?

OK - ignore me. There's the 'Freebies' section on the main Board index!

    LR Grunge Funk Preset

I had series of photographs that didn't work very well in color so I ended up experimenting with a few different presets and came up with a LR present that I actually really like. It certainly isn't appropriate for every type of portrait, but it is a nice one to have in the tool box. It seems to work best with photographs taken in an urban/gritty setting. This particular preset has a tendency to wash out light skinned faces - take care to ease back on the brightness and/or exposure if necessary.

Here's one I created recently for processing the following photo:

Here's the preset! I hope you enjoy it. :)

Hopefully you're getting some good results out of it! It's nothing special, though. :) I think I gave the contrast a boost using curves and did boosted the saturation on a couple of colors. And I added the border using the Vignette tool.

Here are a couple quick shots from a family portrait session I had last Monday using your preset. It is very simple - but effective. The color/tone has a very modern/vintage feel. I am pretty picky about the presets I use as starting points for additional versions of my images - this one is great!

It certainly makes me feel good to see someone using my stuff!

I'm going to start collecting presets that I can use and offer to clients as options for clients. I really gotta get around to trying out borders and textures. Too bad Lightroom doesn't do those yet.
