    Eagle on the Marsh

    Unfortunatly this was at the far range of my 70-300 lens and the images aren't as sharp as I would like, but I still think the subject is pretty cool.

    I like both them. Nice pics; about to be "far range", it happens to me almost always with my pocket camera(s). Anyway... looking at them I can "feel myself there", in such a quiet place.

    Great shots, he's such a majestic bird! I so rarely see eagles that close to the ground, its really cool to see a shot of one that isn't from far below.

    We drive by this marsh fairly often and have seen the eagles several times. The mate to this one was acutally a bit behind him on the ice eating something. She was too far away to get a decent shot. So here's the best I got of both of them.
