    1Dx

I'm surprised I haven't heard anybody here talk about this new body that Canon revealed last week! You guys need to look up it's specs, I'll just start by saying it has a max ISO of 208,000. Then it has dual Digic 5 processors and a Digic 4 in charge of metering. Plus the AF on it and other goodies that are all top of the line, including the full-frame.

I'm glad to see that they're not in the MP wars anymore as this "only" has 18 megapixels. Just thought you guys would like to have a heads up.

Btw - expect a price tag of $6800 for body only. Possibly could be shipped with the new release of the 24-70 for extra $$$.

It looks awesome. 12 fps RAW and 14 fps jpeg. All the Canon shooters at the last game I shot were drooling over it. Not that it's in my price range, but I'm a bit surprised about the 18 mp. If you have to crop in, 18 mp isn't a lot to work with. I guess if it were higher it wouldn't be able to shoot so fast.

True. 18mp is still huge though. I think some people were expecting more out of it, but as far as I know, nobody was expecting it at all. Now people are looking towards a 5D mkiii or a 6D or 3D. I'd be excited for any of those.

The thing that impresses me the most is the sensitivity. You could practically shoot in pitch black and get something out of it.

Yeah, that ISO is crazy. I can see wildlife photogs and photojournalists doing some crazy stuff with that and a 400mm 2.8. I haven't seen any full res samples released, but even if you can make out basic shapes in the noise, it will be impressive.

It's a sweet looking camera - too bad it's out of most photogs (even working photogs) price range!
