    Favorite Gear and Christmas wishlists

It seems like every year, someone starts this thread:
What is on your Christmas list or wish list in terms of gear?

For me, I'd like to get some better HDR software, a case so my speedlights stop getting broken, and a shirt that says "PRESS" on it. What are you asking for?

Anything that I might want (or even need) that's photography related is way too expensive to ask for!

I think if my wife were to surprise me with something it would be cool to upgrade to Apple's new 27" display.

I'm a little late to the thread.... Christmas is over. If I were to ask for something photography related, it would probably be a Canon 5D Mark II or 7D. I'd even ask for a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS if I thought that would happen. Unfortunately I haven't done much photography related in a while. I've hardly even touched the photography magazines I get.

A Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS would be sweet!

I have the f/4.0L :D Pretty nice :D ALMOST bought the 2.8, but decided I could deal with it being a bit slower since it was so much less in cost and weight. I bought the 85mm f/1.8 at the same time, I use it for low light situations like kids indoor sports stuff...works out pretty good.

The 85mm f/1.8 would be a great lens to have. I could have used one of those several times shooting plays and other things at Church.

The 85mm 1.8 is an awesome lens, its on my list as well. The focus is fast and the image quality is amazing, especially for the price. I just can't justify a new lens for a while.

I kind of got a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS for Christmas. My wife got me one that I can drink my coffee with!

I asked for a Nikon one but to no avail LOL -- guess I'll have to pick it up myself. Those are the coolest mugs I've ever seen.
