Hey John! Thanks for your post at "Walking down Prague". I'm not a professional photographer. Told that, yes sometimes I belive my "handycap" is my pocket camera - anyway a good pocket camera. I'm looking for something better, but still too expensive for me (4 days in Prague, 2 persons, including flights, are cheaper than a Canon EOS550...)
    Have a nice time!

    Hey John!
I'm enjoying a short holiday in Germany, having Xmas time together our daughter. About Xmas time I wish to you and your family to have a merry Season's Greetings!
For the rest.... heavy and hard times in Italy. We'll see what in a close future.
I was looking for a new camera, but still too expensive for my pocket. I go on with my old "compacts". Meanwhile I wish, on the 2012, to have time to go to the range.
Again the best wishes from Italy.... oops! from Germany.

Hi John! Where are you? Are you busy with 'the other hobby' ? Keep in touch!
  5. I have no idea what would be up with your camera. Have you taken it back to have it checked out? Sounds like it might be a defect. Have you asked on the forums? Someone might know better than me.

    Hello John!
I'm fighting with my new camera Nikon. Taken shots in a short distance or close-up, outdoor or indoor, it's all right. When I take shot from 20 yards and more...."game over"! Focus is an idea only. I don't obtain "clear" images, outlines are not clear, images are "blurred" almost "foggy". While using my "old" Olympus C-370 it's all right (you can see the result on some pics on the Forum pages) ...Grrrrrrr!!!!!
    Any idea?
I wish you a nice week-end together your family!
    Greetings,
    Marco

    A couple of data:

    Olympus C-370 : AF zoom 5.8-17.4mm 1:2.9-5.0

Hello John! What's up across the pond?
Here... I'm just pretty busy at job, but I got time for photo and shooting.
I got a new camera and even if it's a "compact & easy" camera still I'm studing it. Troubles come when I use the zoom: not right focus. Now I tried to reduce ISO.
    I'll see what.
Have a nice time and good..... shooting!

    Greetings from Italy,
    Marco
