I like the winter, not so much, but I would like to participate in this Challenge.
I have made so many winter pictures, but here I find most beautiful.

Not sure how I will contribute to this challenge, since the average temp for January in Puget Sound was 47 degrees, but I will do my best.

I'll see what I can do here. We just had 3/4" of just ice on Friday, I wish I was able to get out more and take some pictures.

Great entries so far - keep in mind that there is no restriction when the pic was taken. You can post an image from your archive if you wish. You are also welcome to interpret the theme broadly.

Too bad I don't have an archive :( Just photoshopped stuff.
I took these last March when it snowed, and lasted for more than a minute.

These are all from the major storm we had in 2008. We haven't had a lot of snow or ice this winter.

I took this out in the front yard a couple weeks ago. We had a fresh snow fall and the sun was out shining. I couldn't help but capture the contrast between the sharp, green pine needles and the white snow. I wish I had a stabilized macro lens.

Afternoon
I am brand new to this forum. I will learn a great deal and hopefully use my camera more. I will be brave and post an image in the Winter and Ice.
The cowbell image was taken with first digital camera - a JVC 3.3. Hopefully I correctly adjusted the image.

Welcome macInnis! Your image feels very cold - I am glad you jumped in. Consider providing the community with a short intro (http://www.paxtonprints.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=17) when you get a few minutes.
