You may have already read about this (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1239841/Youre-doing-wrong-Chinese-demolition-men-accidentally-create-leaning-tower-Liuzhou.html), it occurred on December 30, 2009. Demos are suppose to collapse into itself. In this case, one half of the building fell sideways (nearly hitting another building) and the other is still standing.

That's an awful situation for the demolition crew! They have to get in that building and set explosives and/or check the ones that were in there... Any of which could go off at any time or the building could go down any time. I wouldn't want to be those guys!

I saw some photographs of it taken later from a different angle. There is a house in the trees between the two halves of the building and the waterway. Also, I don't think the part that did fall down collapsed as completely as it was supposed to have collapsed.

Related to this, I saw another Chinese building demolition video where the building actually rolled over instead of imploding. It rolled down a hill and came to rest against another building.
