3 Hours at the Naples Zoo, Florida
Hello! Good Friend David Tetzlaff is President of the Naples Zoo, and allowed Karen and I to come in at sunrise and spend time up close and personal with the animals, accompanied by wildlife and outdoor photographer Larry Richardson. We had a little more than 2 hours, and were able to capture about 1500 RAW images. We learned a great deal about what NOT to do in zoo photography, and escaped with a few final images of lions, lemurs, monkeys, gibbons, zebras and snakes. Here's a sampling, others are on our web site, a few more we're still struggling with. :-) All Nikon gear, D-7000s, 300mm f2.8, 24-70 f2.8, 28-300 VR 3.5-5.6, and the SB 900 off-camera flash for a few shots. Post-Processing in Aperture. Hope these are of interest!
