Back in early January, Adobe Systems Inc. announced the public beta of a new generation of its photographer-oriented imaging application, Lightroom. Today, the beta comes to an end with the release of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4. Available immediately on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms, Lightroom 4 brings a number of important new features.
