Made it to AZ!

My step-mother and I drove in to Arizona last Friday morning around 10 or so. The scenery in the mountains going towards Flagstaff and south towards Phoenix are amazing! It was prettier than anything I've ever seen in the North East.

It'll take a little while to get used to living amongst so many people, though. I'm used to having only 3 neighbors and a large yard.... Now I'm in a tiny apartment with 3 neighbors within nose-shot of my gaseous emissions! It's pretty quiet here, though, and the convenient access to everything you need can't be beat.

Hopefully being here will inspire me to get out with my camera more. I may make some plans to go out this weekend and explore the desert a little.

I will! I need to... We're in the process of buying a house with a good sized back yard. I should be able to get some shots of the kids back there. I need to get out to the desert, though. There's a lot of stuff out there needing to be shot with my macro lens.
