The theme for the 37th weekly assignment of 2011 is "You Choose"! This week you are free to share anything you want with the community. This doesn't mean you're off the hook! Pick something that you haven't photographed before and make a point of capturing it.

The assignment closes at the end of the day on Sunday, September 18, 2011 - giving you plenty of time to participate!

Assignment Guidelines
Weekly assignments have been setup to challenge you as a photographer. View the assignments as an opportunity to push yourself and grow. Here are the guidelines:

You can enter as many images as you wish.
Do the best you can to capture the images during the week of the assignment (however it is understandable that this may not always be possible - so do the best you can).
The images must be captured and processed by you.
Please resize your images to 1000 pixels wide (or smaller) before uploading them.
You can attach or link to your images - just make sure that the images are displayed in this thread.
You have ten days to participate!

Ok...here's the deal. Pictures don't just happen on their own. Grab your camera and get out there! This is an open assignment - you can photograph anything you want. Carve out a few minutes this week and participate!

So as the sun was setting tonight, my nine year old son ran in and asked me if I saw the red sun. I grabbed my camera
and we headed down to the field with the idea of taking a panorama shot of the sunset. This is the picture we came home with. I hope you like it....

Since I don't normarlly chase porcupines through the field and up a tree, I guess this qualifies as something I don't usually photograph.

Great submissions!

A porcupine in a tree? That's got to be a one of a kind shot.

I love the red building in Venice Marco.

Cool shot and sweet border Lowcop.

So I decided to step outside my usual. Typically on rainy, foggy, soggy days like today I don't take my camera out of the case, but since I work in a coastal Canadian city, I decided it was time I came to tems with my reality. Sain John is foggy, whether it is naturally occuring from the Bay of Fundy, or man made because of the amount of industry in our city.

Great shots Andrea! Fall is the Season I prefer, out from such a sultry, hot Summer into a fresh and colored season ...fading to "pastel foggy" effect.
May you imagine these pics into Fall's colors? Woohoo!
