I was going to actually contribute to the wallpaper section, but it wont let me upload the larger images 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 :(

Thanks for the feedback Tim! When I created the wallpaper forum, I had hoped that everyone would share some of their favorite images as wallpaper. This really hasn't been the case.

I had actually forgotten about the wallpaper forum. Since no one has been contributing to it, I had been thinking of removing it (the wallpaper forum section) entirely. A while back, I reduced the image attachment size to 1024 pixels wide (for the whole forum) making it impossible to post large (wallpaper size) images. The problem is that I can only select one maximum pixel size for images posted in all the forums - not just one. Because no one seemed interested in the wallpaper forum and because 2060 pixels wide for image attachments is way too big for most forum posts, I bumped the maximum image size back down to around 1000 pixels.

I just bumped the image size back up again so that you post wallpaper.

Do we want to keep the wallpaper forum around? What does everyone think?

Hello! I don't know if I have any pictures "right/good" for wallpaper, anyway I think a forum for wallpaper coulda be interesting.
About "image size", that is in "a technical area" where I don't understand right..... sorry.
To close my post: I'd be glad to have again section "Wallpaper".

Everybody have a nice time!

I'd like to see it stick around and see it used (including by myself, obviously) a bit more...

I have some wallpapers that I've been making that I though I'd start sharing.

For links to large images, I've been using DropBox. You can upload files via. the desktop client (integrated nicely with Windows Explorer), or through the web interface. I'd just put a "Read Me First" with instructions to host the larger files somewhere else.
