Just playing around last night trying things out. This is a 15 sec exposure with a beauty dish left firing at the first. Had a glow stick and swung it around after the flash.

I really need to find a better model :(

that is a very cool result, I've played with the small flash lights and other led lights, but not a glow stick, I'm liking that idea!
Here's one I did last year with my grandson, AJ, with his initials in front in lights too and a small LED keychain light.

Here's another light experimentation... long exposure with a red light... it is a different result as well...

I like that first one. Looks great. The second kinda looks like a cyborg to me. :)

Light painting is a lot of fun. Have you guys seen this video before?

very cool stuff, I just spent about an hour on his You Tube videos. some very well done special effects, and audio effects.

I agree.. I've always enjoyed city shots with the car trails. Makes for a great image. You guys in the Seattle area have the one of the best locations ever for this type of shot.
