Nobody's posted about Black Ops? It's the biggest game release in a very long time! 5.6 million copies sold in the first 24 hours.

I bought the PC version and love it. I've spent a lot of time in Combat Training as I'm terrible at playing against human opponents. I have leveled up to 20 or so in multiplayer, though. It is a lot of fun. I enjoy it much more than Modern Warfare 2.

Anyone else get it or plan on getting it?

I have never really played 'war' games but I have heard some really good things about this game. What is the main story-line like?

What???? why buy the pc version? I have the PS3 version and have found my photography productivity has dropped dramatically in the last week since it came out. I think I'm lvl 29 or so in the multi player.

I haven't really played the story mode yet but the story is that you find yourself captured and being asked questions about different events/numbers. You can't recall anything and the game play are flashbacks to the questions that your being asked. It is set in the late 60's or so.

I don't know. I started the campaign and accidentally shot a civilian right off the bat. It forced me to sit through a conversation I already sat through. I was not pleased so I quit.

I bought Black Ops for its multiplayer anyhoo. I probably already got my money's worth out of the Combat Training mode. The Nazi Zombies game can be pretty fun too if you have enough people and know what you're doing. It does get hard rather quickly.

I bought the PC version because I find aiming with the analog sticks on the controller hard. I struggled with MW2 and started hating it. I thought I'd try this one on the PC. I'm glad I did. I'll probably get the PS3 version too.

I got this one on my Christmas list! You have me tempted to buy the PC version. Do the graphics seem any better on the PC over the X-Box? Or can you tell?

I am about half way through Halo Reach at the moment. It's a pretty good game - I think better than any of the other Halo games.

I wouldn't know about the graphics on any of the consoles at the moment. I assume the graphics are going to be better on the PC as it'll run at a higher resolution. I'm running it at 1680x1050 using normal textures and other settings. I don't have everything maxed. I'm getting 60 FPS. I have a Q9550 processor (2.83ghz quad core) with 8gb memory and a GeForce 9800GT video card.

If you get it for the PC, you'll be able to catch me online and you won't have to pay $10/month for XBox Live to play multiplayer!

I am with you about playing on a PC. I came from a PC platform myself (before giving in to the X-box) and it has always been a struggle for me to play as well with a game pad (frankly, I suck on the X-Box). You just can't get the same level of precision on a console as you can with a keyboard and mouse.

Yeah. I'm doing a lot better on the PC with Black Ops than I ever was able to do with MW2 on my PS3. I don't understand how people can do well with the analog sticks... I guess if that's all you've ever had and you have lots of time to play with them...

I'm hoping to pick up a new mouse today. A friend suggested the Logitech MX 518.

I thought about getting the pc version and almost did. The reason I went with the PS3 version is because of the feature where you can have a guest play with you online. Kinda like you can do with the halo games. So if I have a buddy over they can play online with me and don't need a separate account to play.

Also it always seems like the PC versions of games gets a ton of hacks and cheats that make their way into the online game play somehow.

You can't get on a 24/7 Nuketown server on the PS3 version! :p

I'll end up getting the PS3 version, though. I want to be able to do split screen with friends and to play private matches online with other friends. I'll probably do most of my playing on the PC version, though.
